Power Rankings and Games We're Betting (1/24)

Total YTD Stats: Record 39-25, P&L of $1,431 or 15% ROI (1)

We got the bookies running scared! Our model remains dialed in and hangs another winning week on the board. We went 5-4 over our modest nine-game set, and the week, more or less, was made when Montreal beat Toronto as +300 dogs. Little bit of bad luck elsewhere kept this from being a monster return. On the season, which only started after Thanksgiving, we are generating a 15% ROI over a sufficiently-large, sixty-four game sample. A $100 dollar bettor is now sitting on over a G. If that extra cash doesn’t tell you, then I will: what we are doing is working.

Time to go deep.

No Makar? No problem! The champs are shooting up our power rankings and we are backing them at just about any price right now. Hard to not be impressed with their recent swing through the Pacific Northwest. Bruce “the Noose” had to feel his collar shrink three sizes after that 4-1 thrashing on Friday night. (Update: Boudreau was canned.)

Here’s a stat: over their last five games, the Avs have allowed a total of six goals. MacKinnon and Rantanen have seven. This team is absolutely feeling it. I am drinking the one-two punch right now and my bet is this party isn’t stopping anytime soon.
